Andrew M. Dove

Andrew is a native of Ocilla, Georgia. After graduating from Irwin County High School, Andrew attended the University of Georgia and graduated with a B.A. in Political Science and History. Andrew then attended Florida Coastal School of Law where he received a Juris Doctorate. He is admitted to practice in the Superior Courts of Georgia, as well as the Georgia Court of Appeals and State Supreme Court.

Andrew began his legal career by volunteering at the Public Defender’s Office in Moultrie, GA while he was still in law school. Upon graduating from law school, he worked as an Assistant Public Defender for several years in the Southern Judicial Circuit. During his years as a Public Defender, Andrew handled hundreds of cases ranging from DUI to murder. Andrew is currently the attorney for the Ocilla-Irwin County Industrial Development Authority.

Andrew met his wife Kathryn in law school. The couple married in 2007 and has three children, Mary Frances, Claire and John Michael. Andrew is an active member of the Georgia Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers, the American Bar Association and Kiwanis Club. He was also recently elected to the Ocilla Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors. He and his family actively attend the Liberty Baptist Church in Tifton, GA.
